Description

Mito Boost Pen contains MOTS-C (Mitochondrial Open Reading Frame of the 12S rRNA-c), a naturally occurring 16-amino-acid mitochondrial-derived peptide (MDP) encoded within the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene. As a mitochondrial signalling peptide, MOTS-C plays an important role in regulating energy metabolism, mitochondrial communication, and cellular resilience.

MOTS-C is a linear peptide that contains no disulfide bonds or significant post-translational modifications in its native form.

Mechanism of Action

MOTS-C is produced within the mitochondria before being transported into the cytoplasm and nucleus, where it functions as a signalling molecule between the mitochondria and the cell nucleus.

Its primary biological actions include:

Standard Protocol

• 5 mg (22 clicks) per injection

Lower-Dose Protocol

Frequency

• 2–3 injections per week
• Typical schedules include Monday/Wednesday/Friday or administration around training and recovery days.

Recommended Timing

• Morning administration or approximately 30–60 minutes before exercise is preferred to support energy production, endurance, and recovery.

Typical Cycle

• 4–12 weeks on
• Followed by approximately 4 weeks off before repeating if appropriate.

Optional Loading Protocol

Administration Instructions

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Attach a new sterile needle.
3. Dial the prescribed number of clicks (22 clicks delivers approximately 5 mg).
4. Clean the injection site (abdomen or thigh) using an alcohol swab.
5. Insert the needle at a 45–90° angle and inject slowly.
6. Remove and safely dispose of the needle.
7. Replace the protective cap.
8. Rotate injection sites regularly.
9. Inspect the solution before each use. Do not use if the solution appears cloudy, discoloured, or contains visible particles.

Storage & Handling

• Continue storing under the same conditions after first use.

• Discard if expired or if the solution becomes cloudy, discoloured, or contains visible particles.
